Tesse has been sewing and designing professionally since she was 19 years old. Trained in costume design & tailoring for theater and film, she is a Sustainable Bridal Designer, tailor and stylist

As a costume design assistant at regional theaters across the country, Tesse assisted notable designers such as Paul Tazewell and Catherine Zuber.

Tesse has designed costumes for Seattle Repertory Theater, Intiman, Seattle Children’s Theater, Cabrillo Festival, American Conservatory Theater, and UMO. Recent credits include Sweeney Todd, Still in Love With You, and The Story of Edgar Sawtelle for Vashon Repertory Theater, and the female- directed film, Theater is dead

She has tailored garments for celebrities including Lizzo and Taylor Swift.
